Bill/ burlveneer kindly provided us with the contents and cover scans for Doomed to The Night and Tales From Beyond and now its time to thank John Pelan at the indispensable Horrabin Hall for clueing us in on the contents of Tales Of Darkness: Well after checking some notes, I found the book and the explanation for the scarcity of Tales of Darkness ... Simply stated, for some reason this is the toughest of all of R C-H's Kimber titles. I just so happen to have a copy for sale F/F (sadly this one isn't signed, many of my R C-H's are... $60 to darksidepress@msn.com via PayPal gives it a new home. In the meantime, here's the contents: Which One? The Haunted Man Tomorrow's Ghost Outside Interference Darkness IIRC, most of these avoid the silliness that spoilt a good bit of his work. Of course, I'm waiting to see what Bill (burlveneer) comes up with as a proposed "Best of". Personally, I think there are two fair-sized volumes of pretty good stuff buried amid all the collections. Maybe there's more, but it's almost like finding the gems from Fanthorpe's stuff in Supernatural Stories; definitely some good stuff, but what's bad is simply awful.
Cheers,
John I'll make the necessary updates to the biblio when I've posted this!

Just when I thought the work on the biblio was done. I swear Stephen Jones sneakily published this behind my back just to annoy me. It's an award winner too, Stephen Jones and Jo Fletcher (eds.) - Secret City: Strange Tales Of London (The 1997 World Fantasy Convention/Titan Books, 1997) and there's a contribution from RCH. Does anyone know what it is?
